Liposomal encapsulation of vitamins D and K

• Liposomal technology explained: liposomes are tiny vesicles made up of lipid layers, similar to the cell membrane of our own cells. By encapsulating vitamins D3 and K2 in these fat-based bubbles, we create a protective barrier that helps preserve them from digestive acids and enzymes.

• Tripled bioavailability: thanks to this encapsulation method, the bioavailability of vitamins D3 and K2 is tripled.

The graph compares the efficiency of absorption of two forms of vitamin supplements: conventional oral dietary supplements and those in liposomal form. The results show that the liposomal vitamin D3 and K2 supplements are absorbed more effectively by the body than their conventional counterparts. Specifically, the levels of vitamin D3 measured in the blood are higher when using liposomal supplements compared to conventional supplements. Similarly, for vitamin K2, the measured concentrations in mcg/l are significantly higher with liposomes.
